Thread Subject: center line

Hi,

I am working on tracking linear features in images. I got the boundary of a linear feature and the contour representing the boudary. Now i need to draw the centerline of the contour. Can any one knows how to draw the centerline of a contour.

Assuming your contour is some thick region, and you've thresholded it
to a binary image already (easy to do), then just call bwmorph() with
the 'skel' option to skeletonize your thick regions.
