Thread Subject: Change default figure settings

Hi,

I love the look of "axis tight" but hate having to include this line every single time I make a new plot. Does anyone know of a way to permanently change the default setting or to at least keep this for the current session?

set(0,'defaultlinecreatefcn','axis tight')

Now put that line in startup.m and everytime MATLAB is started it will run.
