hi, i have some problem to connect the PID controller to simscape DC motor model. I have made the connection of dc motor model to h-bridge and PWM generator by using simscape tools. Now, the problem is i cant connect PID controller into the circuit. anyone know it pls reply me. thanks

Use the Simulink to PS converter and the PS to Simulink converter blocks:

thanks for ur info.
do u know where is the "SL V" blocks which is use to convert simulink signal to voltage? i have try to find in simulink library but still cant find it.

Have you looked at the two hyperlinks I provided? The first one points to a
page of the documentation, where there is a section at the bottom called
"Connecting Simscape Diagrams to Simulink Sources and Scopes". In here, it
tells you which blocks you need, and if you follow the link, it'll take you
to the documentation for these blocks, which amongst aother things, tells
you in which library the blocks are located.

Arnaud

PS: one more hint (if you still can't find them with all the information
provided), these blocks are Simscape blocks, not Simulink blocks
PPS: another hint (if you still can't find them with all the information
provided), try to use the search feature in the Simulink library browser.

yes, i have read through the link. furthermore, i have try to connect pss and sps converter. However, i still cant connect the pid into the circuit. i think the problem is caused by the voltage source which doesnt have input for SPS converter.
Anyway, i know a block name " SL V" which can convert simulink signal to voltage.
so, i can straight connect the pid to the "SL V" without PSS or SPS then from that block to motor or PWM generator. But, i cant find the Block.

There is no "SL V" block in the library, it must be a custom block somebody
created. You need to connect the output of your PID to a Simulink to PS
converter, and then connect the converter block to a vcontrolled voltage
source. Have a look at the Simscape demo ssc_switched_reluctance_actuator.
The portys of the controlled voltage source can then be connected to the
controlled PWM voltage block from SimElectronics. The SimElectronics demo
elec_linact_control does exactly that.
