Dear MATLAB users and experts,

Can anyone please tell me the way (or where i may find any related m-file) to plot anything ( 2D or 3D) in a coordinate system created by me ? For instance, a 3D plot with Y horizontal and orthogonal to Z, and X (out of plane axis) making alpha degrees with Y.

Thank you very much,
I?d really appreciate your help for my PhD work.

Best Regards,

Miguel Abambres

Hi,

you can use the function axes

Hi Pietro,

Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately i didn?t manage to know how should that function be used in order to create a coordinates system that is not orthogonal. Could you please give me an example of a 2D coordinates system with the vertical axis making an angle of 60? with the horizontal axis? Thanks a lot!:)

Miguel
