FYI, Mathworks modified the format of their MLC support solutions URL, from the familiar format mentioned above to a new format: http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-1812J/
For some reason that escapes me, the old URLs do not redirect to the new ones, and seem stuck with old (April 2009) content, whereas the new URLs are occasionally updated.
An example of the discrepancy can be found between the following two versions of issue 1-2WPAYR: the old URL (http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/data/1-2WPAYR.html ) does not mention the optimized code version that Urs invented, which I reported, and which was updated in the new URL version (http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-2WPAYR/ ). To this day, these two very-similar URLs point to different content pages.
I reported this discrepancy to the MLC tech support team last month (1-9XEIS2), but this has still not been fixed. I would assume many MLC users would be baffled by such discrepancies, evidenced by even hawk-eyed Urs using the old URL format above.
A simple server-side rewrite rule that redirects the old URL to the new format will do the trick (I see you're using Apache 2.2.3 so it should be a simple one-liner). Anyone at TMW care to pick this up?
