just upgraded to snow leopard. started matlab 2009a. first strange thing that happened was that instead of immediately starting, a smart start matlab window appeared that had never appeared before. but, after clicking start matlab, it seemed to start normally. I tried to load a video (as i am analyzing some video in matlab for my job), and what comes up for any file (.mov, .avi, .mpg, .wmv etc) is all messed up streaky white and gray, no image to be seen.

has anyone else had this problem? will the fix need to come from apple or matlab? please help!! my job depends on it and I don't want to have to figure out how to uninstall the os ...
