Hi,

I have to modify a programm and I am stuck and need help ...

There's a variable 'tree', which is a

javahandle_withcallbacks.com.mathworks.hg.peer.UITreePeer

If I try this

getfield(get(get(tree,'FigureComponent'),'UserData'),{1})

I get my class variable which is stored in there

[1x1 DATA_SYSTEM]

After tmp = getfield(... see above) I can access any stored data via e.g. tmp{1}.NewData, but I have to write into that "tree", therefore I can't make use of "tmp". Of course I might copy the whole modified DATA_SYSTEM into "tree" again, but I would rather like to edit the "tree" directly. Is there any way to circumvent the "tmp" and directly access my datas?

I'm using 2007b, if that matters.

Greetings, Norman
