I am looking for help to be able to perform system identification on a model of a remote controlled car. I have already created a simulink state-space integrated kinematic/dynamic model but wish to paremeterise it using test data from the real car using the system identification toolbox. Any help or a point in the right direction, (I have no idea where to start), would be appreciated.

Thank you

If you have craeted your model in Simulink, use the product called Simulink
Design Optimization to estimate parameters of this model. If you have R2008b
or older version, the product to use would be Simulink Parameter Estimation.

Dear Andrea,

i'm working on the same subject as u i guess, but instead of grey box modeling, i'm using different sub models like (double Wiebe for combustion)
i didn't get to the simulink part yet, but if u're interested we can discuss our work together. I'm doing a PhD and interested in your Work.

Best regards
