Thread Subject: labels when retrieving data from database

Hi

When I retrieve data from the database: for example:

curs = exec(conn,'select * from portfolio');
attributes = attr(curs)

then I get an empty response:
      fieldName: []
       typeName: []
      typeValue: 0
    columnWidth: 0
      precision: 0
          scale: 0
       currency: []
       readOnly: []
       nullable: []
        Message: 'Error: Invalid cursor'

I checked using the query builder, I am able to retrieve that information. So why can't I get the column names along with it?

Any help is much appreciated
