Hi all,
I setup Matlab 7.9 R2009b for Windows Concurrent License on Vista Home Premium. I finished the setup successfully and own the licence.
But Matlab R2009b has no interface but remains in task processes (50% Cpu and 5100k Memory). My computer is intel Core Duo, 3G memory.
Does anybody encontour this problem? Can someone give me some advices?
     Thank you very much!

In addition, the operation system is 32-bit.
And I have MCAfee software.
I can connect to my university licence server.

Did you have a VPN connection?
TMW support told me that there is a bug in 2009b. It doesn't run in Vista with VPN. Doesn't seem to work in Win7 either. And unfortunately, it sometimes just hangs after waking the laptop from stand by.
I have used pretty much every released version since 3.5(i, j, k etc.), including most of the prereleases. 2009b is the first (that I remember) one I can't start using and have to stay with the previous release.

Reply: Yes, You are right. I am out of our campus and want to use the matlab sometimes by applying VPN just as the matlab instructions shown on our university official website. Since one student can only get on free Concurrent License version. I can use matlab R2009b now. Do you have any news about this problem?

Nothing more than what is found from support:
Solution ID: 1-2ZRQIV
There are solutions for various versions, but no fix for 2009b.
You probably should go back to 2009a.
