I want to know which type of neural networks can be used with the discrete models ?

I mean by discrete model a discrete-time state space model of the form
           x(k+1)=f( x(k) , u(k) )
           y(k) = h ( x(k+1) , u(k))
 Can the recurrent neural network be used for this problem ? or there is a kind of neural networks that are better than this ?
