Can enyone explain me what does this error mean?

"Undefined function or method '_colonobj' for input arguments of type
'Interface.Microsoft_Excel_12.0_Object_Library.Range'."

There can be a few reasons you get that error, but the most common one is that MATLAB does not find the function (in your case, "_colonobj") in the working directory. Maybe there is a typo in the name, or you are not in the correct directory for running the function?
