Thread Subject: m-audio soundcard acquiring data

hi everybody
just new in the forum, that's my question:
if i want to get real time audio stream from m-audio soundcard, in matlab, is it correct creating the analog input object in this way?
ai = analoginput('winsound');

or the adaptor is different for any different soundcard??
