This is my code to generate a color scheme:

>> [xx,yy]=meshgrid(-6:0.5:6,0:1);
>> zz=[-6:0.5:6;-6:0.5:6];
>> subplot('position',[0.00,0.00,1.0,1.0]),pcolor(xx,yy,zz)
>> shading interp

Then I save the figure which be plotted in the pop up window. Following is the eps figure
http://www.theochem.kth.se/~said/color.eps

When I want to use pdf format of this figure, I use
esptopdf command to convert color.eps to color.pdf like
http://www.theochem.kth.se/~said/color.pdf

However, there are some dash-white lines in the color.pdf. I have tried to directly print figure by pdf format. The quality of pdf figure is the same.

How can I get rid of these dash-white lines?

I think the solution to your problem is called trapping:

Unfortunately, I do not know how to switch on automatic trapping in Matlab. When I ran into that problem, I imported to CorelDraw, switched on "Ueberdrucken" (don't know how it is called in the English version of CorelDraw) and exported.
