Hi there,

If I was wanting to make hardware updates to my PC in order to get faster convergence of my optimisation routines what would the key upgrades be?

I currently have a dual core processor and 2GB memory.

Does matlab benefit from processors with hyperthreading?

How much of a performance increase can I expect to gain fro upgrading?
