Hi everyone !!!
I have a question relating to gaussian random variables, i need to plot the pdf of the following:

=summation(from i=0 to i = P) |H^i|?

where H are circularly symmetric complex Gaussian random variables …
I donno how to do it in matlab ,,, kindly help
thanks in advance,

If you want, you can generate Hi's and compute the summation S, let us say, 10000 times. Then you will get 10000 S values right? I will assume you put them in a vector called Svector. Now you can do:

[n,x] = hist(S,100);
deltaX = x(2)-x(1);
pdf = n/length(S)/deltaX;
