Thread Subject: Find coordinates of intersection between an object in an image and a line (major axis of ellipse)

Hi everyone,
   Pls can somebody help me in this. Is there a function in Matlab which generates the coordinates of intersection between a line (in my case the major axis of an ellipse) and the labelled object in the image?? The following link shows my image (with labelled objects) intersected with the major axis of an ellipse:

Hi...

i'm not sure to what extent this works out, but may be you can try this...

First, get all the pixel coordinates of the one object and next try to get the pixel coordinates of the other object...

after getting these two..try using the function 'polyxpoly'..

may be its helpful...
