Thread Subject:
Convert 2D RGB image to 3D volume

Subject: Convert 2D RGB image to 3D volume

I have multiple images or slices actually in RGB(m x n x 3 uint8), from which I want to make a 3D volume. But because of the extra RGB dimension, I don't know how to do this.

The 3D object should be able to rotate and each (x,y,z) coordinate should have the original RGB value.

Does anyone has suggestions how to tackle this problem?

Thanks in advance.
