Thread Subject: fuzzy infrence system, fis

I want to ask question about FIS which is in Matlab Toolbox. (fuzzy logic)
My problem:
Now, in the system, there are inputs, rules and outputs. I know inputs and rules but outputs.
What are those? what is output? and how can i comment that?
