Have a look at:
     http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/ref/figure.html
Or please paste this in the MATLAB command window:
     web([docroot,'/techdoc/ref/figure.html'])

You might be able to start with this:

set(0,'DefaultFigurePosition',get(0,'ScreenSize'))

Also look at 'doc matlabrc' if you want to set this for every MATLAB
session.
