Thread Subject:
setting minimized figure visible

Hi,
I have a figure that suppose to be minimized, but need to change visibility from on to off and vice-versa.

I would like that if I have a minimized figure, and then I'm setting it's visibility to 'on' it will stay minimized, without the need to make it minimized again.

Is it possible?

Tx, Lior

hFig=figure;
drawnow;
jFig=get(handle(hFig),'JavaFrame');
jFig.setMinimized(true);
set(hFig,'Visible','off');
set(hFig,'Visible','on');

Thaks a lot, but still I left with the blinking figure that "minimized again" in -

set(hFig,'Visible','off');
set(hFig,'Visible','on');

 can it be avoided?

Another thing I just found out, when the figure is invisible I cannot invoke
jFig.setMinimized(true);

Again my need is to set visible 'on' but keep the original minimized figure, minimized.
