hello,
I am having trouble in plotting vorticity data. I have

Coordinates:
x=[4982] "4982 x 1 matrix"
y=[4982]

Data to be plotted:
wx=[4982x1] "4982x1 matrix"
wy=[4982x1]
wz=[4982x1]

I want to plot wx with respect to x and y coordinates.All the values of wx are according to (x,y). I want to compare the vorticity data of wx, wy, and wz.
Please can anyone tell how to get a surface or a contour plot or a simple xy plot using x and y values.

Hi thnx for reply.The problem is I have matrix of 4982x1. And all the surface and isoline plots require at least 2x2 matrix. my problem is I have to analyse each matrix with the dimensions of 4982x1. Although I have coordinate matrices of the same sizes for X and Y but I cannot menage to get either a surface or contour plot.
