Subject: Datatips in two linked axes, and many dataips in the same axe (programmatically questions)

Hi everybody!!

I am trying to make appear datatips in two different axes that are linked (with linkaxes), ie: when I click with datacursor on one of the figures, I want that the datatip appear in both axes with their information (X, Y, Z).

I have found some threads (http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/view_thread/275743#725341) which says that apparently it is not possibe, so I was thinking of make it manually, ie create a static text box (I am working on a GUI) and make a little function that takes the position information of the data cursor, then search the position on the other figure, and display it in the text box... It seems a little bit long, so if somebody has another idea or knows how to do it simply, I would be very greatful.

Another question: How to make appear (programmatically) many datatips in the same axe? I have found a solution on the page http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/creating_plots/f4-44221.html ,
cliking right and then on "create new datatip", but I would like to know if a programation command exists.

Thank you in advance for your help and ideas!

Camille.
