Dear all,

I am having a functional data analysis problem here.
Given thirty 1 X N sample curves f1(x1,y1), f2(x2,y2), f3(x3,y3)..., f30(x30,y30), i need to re-generate the underlying function f(x,y). Assume x is [0,2/pi],y is [0, 2*pi]. the function can be assumed as f(x) = sin(x)*cos(y) first for test purpose. How can I do it in matlab?
