Thread Subject: Variable values in Matlab Debug mode.

I use matlab on NT 4. When in debug mode sometimes I can see the value
of variables if I let the mouse hover over the variable in the edit
/debugger window. However, at other times I do not get this facility.
Does anyone know how to turn it permanently on, or why it does not
work in some cases?

Hi Kola,

I'm not sure why it wouldn't work in all cases, but have you checked your
Preferences? In the Editor group, the Display subgroup there should be an
option "Enable datatips in edit mode." If that's not checked, check it.
This will turn this feature on.
