Hi, I'm looking for a possiblity to debug a java class, which I'm calling from matlab.
More specifically: I was writing a matlab function, which in turn uses a Java Class. This matlab function is compiled into a DLL to be used from Excel. So far this works. Now I would like to attach a debugger to the java class whenever it is envoked by calling the Matlab function from Excel.

Does anyone know, how to attach a Java debugger - best if it would be the one from Netbeans?

Thanks,
Karsten

Adapt the steps in the following post: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/view_thread/155261#404006

I plan to publish a more detailed article about Java debugging in UndocumentedMatlab.com within a few weeks, so stay tuned (it may turn out to be a short mini-series, since Eclipse debugging is slightly different from NetBeans)
