Exporting Matlab tiff to ImageJ

This is long shot, but maybe someone here can help. I'm saving a 16 bit multi-page tiff in Matlab using imwrite. This seems to work fine and I can confirm this because I read it back in just fine with imread.

I then want to load this tiff in ImageJ. When I do this, the first page loads ok but then I get an error message:
TiffDecoder: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

Has anybody successfully exported tiffs of this nature to ImageJ. Is there some some trick I'm missing?

It would have helped if you posted the full error message.

A quick check indicates that ImageJ has trouble reading 'packbit'
compressed multi-page Tiff file. If its an option for you, you could try
the 'Compression','none' option to IMREAD. ImageJ reads these
uncompressed images fine.

Sorry, the error number was clipped on my log screen and I didn't notice it.

That did indeed work, thank you.
