Hi all,

I am looking to process frames in large videos (200mb - 1gb).

I was wondering if anyone was aware of a virtual image acquisition program which would enable me to upload the .avi file and read it into Matlab using the getdata function, or alternatively of any efficient ways to process large videos.

Thanks,
Tim

Do you have a 64bit system? With a 64bit system and a few gigabytes of RAM you shouldn't have any issue with a video that size. Why not just use aviread() to read it in?
