3D surface

I have a 2 sets of 3D points, that represent an iceberg. They are broken up into above water and below water X,Y,Z co-ordinates. The X co-ordinates are stored in 2 arrays, aboveWaterX and belowWaterX. The Y co-ordinates in aboveWaterY and belowWaterY etc... The 3 arrays for the above water are a different size than the 3 below water arrays. I need to combine these sets of points into 3 arrays of complete X,Y,Z co-ordinates and plot a surface around them. If anyone is interested I can email you the points, as this will likely help with the explanation of my problem.

The issue I am facing is to do with the way the points are obtained. The above water co-ordinates are obtained from meshgrid and the below water co-ordinates are obtained from 8 sonar drops, i.e lines from the N,NE,E,SE etc..

I cannot generate a surface from the scatter plot, as some of the X,Y co-ordinates are the same for the above and below water points. If you are interested my email is dberrow@oceansltd.com and I can send you some of the files I have so far.

Sounds like you need an isosurface, or pair of isosurfaces. These can then be shown with the patch command. Feel free to email me you data if you wish.
