Dear Tobi,

Welcome to CSSM!

> How do I give reply to a request.
This depends on the method you access the newsgroup. How/where do you read the newsgroup?
E.g. in the webinterface of mathworks.com there is a "Reply to this message" link, which starts the obvious procedure.
There are more convenient newsgroup readers, which are installed locally on your computer.

> How do i know if i hav a reply to my request.
You have to read it. I'm sure, that there are some intelligent newsgroup readers, which can inform you actively. But e.g. the mentioned mathworks interface is passive - except if you activate the "Add this thread to my newsreader watch list".

So let me welcome you with the most frequent reply in this newsgroup: We need more details to understand the problem and suggest a solution.

Kind regards, Jan
