Hello,
I'm new to Simscape and want to experiment building own libraries, to compare Simscape to Dymola/Modelica.
I searched the user guide to find a way how to execute my components from the MATLAB Command Window (e.g. the example components/equations from the user guide) and view the results (variables) in the variable browser.

You can't. You need to compile your ssc file using ssc_build to build a Simscape library. Once this is done, you can use the blocks from the library in a Simulink model:

You can then run your Simulink model from the command line or a MATLAB script/function if you so desire using the sim command:
