HI,

I recently down loaded an M-code program which doesnt run due to an error stating the following:

"DLTdv5 requires mmreader."

What is mmreader and why doesnt my version of MATLAB (7.4.0) have it?

Thanks

Nic

I don't know when it was introduced. Here's the help from R2010b:

mmreader class

Create object for reading video files

Note mmreader will be removed in a future release. Use
VideoReader instead. The mmreader class has been renamed VideoReader.

This object was introduced in MATLAB 7.5 (release R2007b):

A quite strange thing has happened then. Last week I ran the software without any error but today the 'mmreader' error comes up??

I am running version R2007a so I guess it shouldnt have run in the first place?

Not unless you had your own file called mmreader.m that was available to
your installation last week but is no longer available (due to the directory
containing it no longer being on the path or for any of a number of other
reasons.)
