recognize image lines in rectangle buffer

Hi,

i extracted straight lines on an image. If I define a buffer zone/search box, can anyone share some ideas on how can I detect the lines that exist inside this buffer space?

But you already "extracted" them. Doesn't that mean that you already
detected them? What's the difference between extract and detect?

when i say detect i meant , to find the extracted lines inside buffer

Use a logical AND on the two binary images: all of the lines and the buffer.

I'm not even sure he *has* binary images. He didn't mention any. We
have few clues as to what ben really has due to his strange reluctance
to share any information that will help himself. I mean, no
images...., no code...., extremely terse vague ambiguous sentence
fragments. Maybe Sean's message is a gentle hint regarding that.
Here's another terse hint that might possibly apply:
"Use houghlines"

Higher quality questions will get higher quality responses.

lol.......very funny man. Yea, I know its was vague.......figured it out though, and houghlines worked a charm!
