Hi all,
I want to convert an iddata object into idmodel. The iddata is formed of a time series 100*19(multiple output) matrix. Can anyone help me?

Hi Krishna, Have you read the documentation for the particularly model you want to estimate? Models in the System Identification Toolbox routinely (I bet all do--but I can't say for certain off the top of my head) accept iddata objects as inputs. The iddata object is foundational in that toolbox. See ar() for example. This estimates an AR model and accepts an iddata object as an input.

Thanks wayne, the function I was using was 'sim' and it needed an idmodel. I have tried ar and arx and got the answer, though not satisfactory.
