Hello. I get this error compiling the mex

Error: Could not find the compiler "cl" on the DOS path.
Use mex -setup to configure your environment properly.

E:\MATHLA~1\BIN\MEX.PL: Error: Unable to locate compiler.

I choose " [2] Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8.0 " from mex -setup. When i have got this error, i made all steps from this support note http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-1I5TNS/, and tried to setup MSVCDir manually in msvc71engmatopts.bat, but it doesn't works.

Camille,

This is a very strong indication that the compiler is not intalled
properly. Please try uninstalling the compiler and reinstalling it.

Be sure to pay attention to Note 6 bellow:
http://www.mathworks.com/support/compilers/release2008a/win64.html#n6

If you continue to have difficulties getting MEX to work, please contact
MathWorks' Technical Support at:
http://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us/index.html

Good luck,
Gadi
