Thread Subject: PDF not printing selected font

Hi,

I am trying to print a figure as a PDF with Gill Sans font. On screen, the figure has the correct font, however when printed the PDF specifically has Courier. I don't have this problem when printing to a PNG. Do the printer drivers not support Gill Sans font and simply set the default font to Courier?

Only a few fonts are supported when exporting to PDF. See:

The file exchange submission export_fig now gets round this problem, allowing you to save the fonts you want to pdf or eps files. Export_fig can be downloaded here:
