Hi matlabers,
I write this post about how to convert program .m into a standalone .exe.
I know that there are many other posts on that issue, but I need a particular answer because the program I want to convert into a .exe is:
- a principal program
- maaaaany functions that my program calls (I think I have approx. 40 functions)
- images and icons,
because my program has a GUI.

How can I do that?
I have read many posts on deploytool, but apparently this deploytool need a compiler in order to run...

Thanks in advance for your help!

Camille.

I have forgotten to say that I am working on a 64 bits computer, as a simple user, and with Windows Server 2008.
Thanks for your help!

The compiler is the only way to go.

Maybe your problems are because of 64-bit platform, I don’t know.
Once MS C++ compiler installed I have no problems to setup mbuild,
just two key strokes. Here is a text dump:

Please choose your compiler for building standalone MATLAB
applications:

Would you like mbuild to locate installed compilers [y]/n? y

Select a compiler:
[1] Lcc-win32 C 2.4.1 in C:\PROGRA~1\MATLAB\R2009b\sys\lcc
[2] Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual
Studio 9.0

[0] None

Compiler: 2

Please verify your choices:

Compiler: Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1
Location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0

Are these correct [y]/n? y
