how to do interpolation in polar coordinate

Subject: how to do interpolation in polar coordinate

I have a polar data set (Theta, Rho, Z). it is not uniformly distributed, for example, Theta=[0.1,0.24,0.3...],Rho=[2,4,3...],Z=[1,2,0...]. I'd like to have another data set which has uniform Theta and Rho, say, Theta=[0.1,0.2,0.3...],Rh0=[0,1,2...].

I understand that meshgrid works only for Cartesian coordinates. Any suggestions for the polar system? Thanks a lot.
