The function 'cscvn' and curvature coefficient

Subject: The function 'cscvn' and curvature coefficient

Hello All,

I've used the function 'cscvn' to interpolate some data points in 2D. I wonder if I it's possible to change a curvature in some way? Let's say if curvature coef is equal to 1, then the line becomes straight.

points=[3 26.67 24.67; 3.33 14 24.67];
cubic_spline = cscvn(points); % data interpolation with a cubic spline
fnplt(cubic_spline,'-r');

Thanks, I'll appreciate any help.

You can't always say what arranges you. A curvature of a straight line is universal known as 0.

Thank you Bruno. Could you please give me an idea on how rounded corners of the path can be produced in Matlab so that the curvature coef could be changed from 0 to 1? I know a theoretical background (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curvature), however I wonder how it can be implemented in MATLAB.
