Hi MATLAB users,

Is there any way of changing m-files order in the editor faster than simply click and drag each m-file...by default they are ordered alphabethically, but that order is not logical for me. And dragging each of them (> 70 m-files) takes much time...

thanks in advance,

Miguel

Hi Miguel,

The following could give you an idea.

mFiles = dir('*.m');
order = [9 1 7 5];
for k = order
    edit(mFiles(k).name)
    disp(mFiles(k).name)
end

Best.
