i am using svm classification in matlab with this code:

>> indices = crossvalind( 'holdout',groups,0.5)
>> cp = classperf ( groups )

>>test = (indices == 1); train = ~test
     svmStruct = svmtrain ( mat1 ( train,:) , groups ( train ) ,'kernel_function', 'rbf','RBF_Sigma',75,'BoxConstraint',75)
     classes = svmclassify ( svmStruct , mat1 (test,:) )
     classperf ( cp , classes ,test )

when i watch cp object i can see among other things, the number of validations done on the test group. how does matab chooses this number? can i control it somehow?
