I'm using an external source (mesh2d) and it calls tsearch. Since the
future release of Matlab doesn't support tsearch, how can I change it
to the new standard? Thanks.

% --------- Here's the segment of the mesh2d code that calls tsearch
----------------
% Do a full search for points that failed
if any(j)
   i(j) = tsearch(x,y,t,xi(j),yi(j));
end

The delunay/tsearch function will be replaced by DelaunayTri class

Take a look at the documentation for the R2011a release. It tells you how to handle this scenario.
