using the output of ode45 in a meshgrid. please help.

dear friends,

i am facing a problem. i solved 9 coupled equations using ode45. that matrix is now y(:,:). now i want to feed the y(:,3) value to this relation;

e1=i * c* y(:,3)*z + t - z./16;

here z=[linspace(0,.0001,200)]'; size of y(:,3) is same as z, i.e. 200x1;
t is also 200x1, but when i use this command

meshgrid(t,z);
surf(t,z,e1);

its not giving plot.

any suggestions how to obtain plot for this. the y(:,3) entry is actually output of the ode45, and i want to use this entry in the equation that i just mentioned.

any help is greatly appreciated.
