Matlab and MySQL

I would like to add a database (MySQL) with Matlab. I have never worked with Matlab and MySQL before, but I have worked with MySQL and web development before. Is it possible to do it with Matlab from Matlab itself? (i.e. without using .NET and so).

I would really appreciate some steps or guidelines as i have no idea

The simplest solution is to purchase the database toolbox.

Ok, it is installed in the labs at school.. How do you make a proper connection as I can't see what I have to set/do with DRIVER and DATABASEURL
