what was the problem?

guide->tools->Toolbar editor, select the 'save button' from the list
of icons that you don't want to appear in your figure toolbar, and hit
the DELETE key on your keyboard.

No you can't get rid of that icon. It's part of the GUIDE user
interface and they don't give you the ability to customize it. I
don't know why you'd want that particularly useful icon to vanish
anyway.

Your only hope is if Yair (http://undocumentedmatlab.com/) can give
you some backdoor secret way of getting rid of it.

Those are tool buttons on a figure's toolbar. You can modify those,
like Nasser said. For other tools that are part of the basic MATLAB
user interfaces, like MATLAB and GUIDE, you can only modify the
buttons if they let you. MATLAB lets you have some control over
modifying which tools appear, but GUIDE doesn't. So if you want to
get rid of the save tool on your own figure that you create, you can
do that. Or if you want to get rid of the Save icon on the source
code "Editor" window, you can do that too, because it gives you the
customize functionality. But you can't get rid of the Save tool in
the GUIDE toolbar - the save icon that appears just under the space
between Edit and View in the "File Edit View Layout Tools Help" menu
of GUIDE. You aren't given that "customize" functionality on that
toolbar. Just right click on the toolbar - see? no "customize" shows
up in the popup context menu like it does for the Editor toolbar.

i don't think you understand me too. so here is my toolbar
set(handles.figure1,'Toolbar','figure');
toolbarul = findall(handles.figure1,'Type','uitoolbar');
[X map] = imread(fullfile('c:/snumerice/alte/home.gif'));
iconhome = ind2rgb(X,map);
butonhome = uipushtool(toolbarul,'CData',iconhome,...
           'Separator','on','TooltipString','Home',...
            'HandleVisibility','callback', ...
           'ClickedCallback',@butfct);

and a buton there too. i want to remove save buton from the figure that aperes after hitting run. simple as that. (btw i want to put my button first, not to be last one, but thats a different story)

I don't know because I don't get down into the low level programming
like that since I have GUIDE to do that for me and I don't need to
concern myself with those useless details. I'd recommend that you use
GUIDE to create the toolbar, then get rid of the save button like
Nasser showed you, then tell guide to generate the m-file, and see
what the uipushtool() code it generates looks like. It should be just
what you want since you designed it in the wysiwyg mode first.

i don't want to made a new toolbar. the standard one is very good. i managed to add one button. the rpoblem is that i wan't to remove the save button and to put my custom made button first. that's all.

You can indeed modify the standard Matlab toolbar, but this is undupported and undocumented. The way to do this is described here:
