Recently I read one of Doug's blogs about publishing code from matlab.

Firstly a great thing!! I grew despondent at the continual save plot as jpg and then insert into word!

Now to the crunch:

I select output as pdf and there is no file in my specified folder nor does a pdf file open after the code runs.

I select doc and the same result as the pdf example.

I select ppt and voila I do get a ppt - but my function to generate the plots creates 3 separate figures each containing a 1x3 subplot. All the figures are stacked on the ppt file.

Has anyone experimented with the publishing option? Does the pdf or doc options work for you?

Can I prevent the stacking of plots in ppt? Without editing the ppt?

Are there no folk out there who have experimented with the publishing option?

Please show the code you're trying to publish (a small sample at least), the
exact sequence of steps you followed to publish the file including
clarification of where you did "select output as pdf" (in your call to
PUBLISH, in a publish configuration, or somewhere else?)

http://www.mathworks.com/help/techdoc/matlab_env/briymz8-1.html

and exactly what happened (including, if possible, the directory listing for
your attempt to reproduce this issue with the sample I requested in a new,
clean temporary directory to make sure the output isn't hiding under a name
you didn't expect.)
