Thread Subject: a confirmed bug in fminunc?

Someone told me that fminunc has a confirmed bug in Matlab 7.0 and later versions. Is this or was this ever true?

I went to Support -> Bug Report -> Search
then type "fminunc" in the box, it returns 24 entries.

This amount returned probably for with many other functions, still can be considered as reliable.
