Dear matlab experts,

I have a question on how to have data in some hypothetic time points. Assume that I have two columns like, first column is time in seconds and second one is the dependent variable.
2 20
4 21
6 53
8 34
10 78
12 23
14 12
I would to infer the dependent variables starting at 0.8 second, lasting 3.6 seconds and for every 7 seconds. That is, I would to know the hypothetic mean value between 0.8~4.4sec and mean value between 7.8 ~ 11.4 sec by interpolation. How can I do it?
Thanks!

Yihui
