Hi,
I run fminsearch and got this message, is there anyway to disable this message, I used "warning off" but it didn't help.

Exiting: Maximum number of function evaluations has been exceeded
          - increase MaxFunEvals option.
          Current function value: Inf

Thanks so so much.

What you can do is pass an option structure with the option 'Display'
as 'off':
k_OptimOptions = optimset('Display','off');

When you use this in fminsearch, it should suppress all messages.

Hi Thu:

Notice that this exit message is telling you that the optimization run
was cut short because fminsearch performed more evaluations of your
objective function than a preset limit.

If you want to increase this limit to see if fminsearch can do a better
job at minimizing your objective, set the option MaxFunEval to a higher
value.

See fminsearch's reference page for how to do this.
http://www.mathworks.com/help/techdoc/ref/fminsearch.html

It also appears that the value of the objective is Inf, which (if you're
minimizing) suggests there was a problem as the algorithm didn't seem to
have been able to decrease the objective at all.

Thanks a lot, it works well. Just one thing is I expect to speed up my program but it doesn't help.
