Subject: looking for a submission but cannot remember the name

About a year ago I saw a very interesting submission on FEX but cannot find it any more and cannot remember either name or author's name.

It was something like a 3D scatter plot - however no combination of search on FEX was effective.

What was very interesting to me is that the author included link to a website where he was showing result of using it to classify comic book covers.

I know it is not a lot to go about but if it rings a bell......
Thank you
Matteo

Perhaps this one:
http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/12191-bilateral-filtering
No scatter3 but does produce cartoon-like images.

It is the color histogram one proecsm, thanks a lot for pointing it out, I as ready to go through all of 2010 functions.
And thanks to Image Analyst, the bilateral filter is quite interesting thing to look at anyhow!

Oh, you wanted a 3D color gamut, as it's known. If I had known that I
would have pointed you to my "Answers" posting:
http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/16644-rgb-colour-pixel-plot

Basically there's a plug-in for ImageJ that can be called from MATLAB
(because it's Java) that will give you better capabilities than the
File Exchange submission. (Don't judge it by the one screenshot on
the plug-in page because it can do scatter plots, in many different
color spaces, and lots more. I'd definitely give it a try. I use it
every week or so. Incredibly useful.

WOOWWW
This ImageJ is really looking good.
And it's also got an interactive surface viewer and Volume viewer.
Thank you!
